Hello there, I’m Aurora Kelly

I’m an independent author daylighting as a data anaylst. I’m also an all-around weirdo.

The Duology of Fortola
My first foray into writing, The Catalyst and The Commander. From inception to completed publication, close to eleven years of my life had elapsed. This duology reflects the age I was when I began it. It is New Adult Fiction, with three of my four main characters in their mid-twenties. It is multi-POV, several of which are journal formats. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s not meant to be taken too seriously. A good pair of reads for when you just need a little break. Think those odd books you found in the school library that you remember you enjoyed, but not much else.
The Lady and The List
Fresh off the (somewhat) satisfying conclusion of publishing The Commander, I challenged myself to write the idea that had come to me via the divine inspiration that is a Tumblr post turned Tiktok infodump within a year. And I succeeded (barely). Despite being my third novel, this Regency Romance book has quite a few firsts. It is my first romance, my first novel with spice, my first time writing a genderfluid character, my first time including a member of the Deaf community, the first novel I’ve ever sent out a query for, and a thousand other little things. It was a joy to write and the characters I created became so dear to me that within days of finishing my edits, I began the next installment in what will likely be a long series.
